Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA or technical certification is a plus.
  • 7-8 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in Solar, inverter and batteries wholesales.
  • Outstanding knowledge of various competitors in electrical products.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and other sales and productivity tools.
Responsibilities

  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and other sales and productivity tools.
  • Review sales price, to ensure that deviations from the plan are highlighted and corrective measures are taken.
  • Visit clients’ premises on a weekly basis for meetings and update deals to be closed.
  • Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities.
  • Develop and forecast sales plans and financial objectives for the branch while meeting sales targets and metrics.
  • Expand market reach in electrical and solar products.
  • Develop a sales team to increase revenue.
  • Grow customer segments in distribution, B2B, and other segments.
  • Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities.
  • Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs.
  • Address unresolved/complex customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.
  • Follow the latest industry developments and stay up to date on company’s competitors’ activities in the territory.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with clients to generate avenues for further business.
  • Formulate and develop effective strategies for training, recruitment, management development and succession planning, thus meeting the training need of the Sales team.
